| | When I process files using import.exe and load them into my Prospect folder, they are not visible in the folder listing until I rebuild the list. What can I do to rebuild the index so I don't have to manually rebuild the list? |

| can you give an example of your import.exe call. Import should update the index for you with out any other steps needed. also let us know what version of Point you are working on.

%1 = filename passed from command line Point version 5.1 |

| | open point, click on utilities, click on search/display settings. this will open a dialog box. click the extended search options tab. see if the data folder you are trying to import to has a check in it. Also it should not matter any more but one thing i have seen cause many problems in the past when setting the data folder to a root drive is an extra \ in the path name in the winpoint.ini file. To check this go to start run type winpoint.ini look for the section labled [Directories] you should see your folder listed make sure that its y: and not y:\

| I am seeing the same behavior. The .prs/.brw file is being dropped correctly, it is not being reflected in the index file however. I suspect a bug in import.exe
