When I upload a document (or someone else even), then go back into the file (after closing out) I've been getting an error.

Most of the time it will actually open the document in PDF (I'm hitting "Print" so that it brings up the .pdf for the best viewing on my machine) but then I always get, "Error reading file, it may be corrupt" Hit ok, then I get " error code 0xC0000005.

Hit ok from there, and I get 0xC0150010 (error) and it forces me to close point.

This is when a file is read only for me. It seems to work fine when I work out of a folder that I can read or write to.

HELP! Very annoying....(to keep logging in!)

No. That has been my work around. Since the upgrades in Dec (or so) I've had random issues with doc storage. Usually it boots you from Point, and then works the next time around. Multiple people in my office have the same issue (random, so hard to repeat)

Something happened to the coding, not sure what...

We are having similar errors as well when the remote laptop users try and add docs to the storage area.  It will usually give the same corrupt message and then they email it into the office and the processor uploads with no error.  There must be some functionality issues that are being worked on with the next service pack.....it is a real inconvenience since we insist on the loan officers uploading their docs.

Do you know the typical file size of docs when it bombs? Maybe the larger files are the more problematic...

Happens here too. Document size doesn't seem to matter, and as far as I can tell happens both on a hard-wired desktop, and on our laptops in the field.  To illustrate the randomness of the issue, three days ago one of our processors contacted us re: errors when trying to print - I tried to print appraisal and received same memory errors and was booted from Calyx. Today I go to same file, and print same document and it works fine.

How much RAM does the server have? Is it a virtual machine?

While I haven't gotten the error in a while, I think it's because I'm working around it.

Now, I double click on the document. The "Document Information Preview" pops up, and then I click "open PDF"

From there I print, save, etc. If I need to email, I email it after I save it to my desktop or something...

No errors that way. I have no idea about the server storage or size?
