Something I noticed after installing Point is that it requires Microsoft Word to create and print custom forms.

AbiWord can pull data from 3 file types, and creating a plug-in for other formats is easy:

Any chance this, or another option can be added in the future?

This is still something that we would like to see implemented. We have migrated to Google Apps Premiere and while we plan on keeping Microsoft Office internally for the time-being it would be nice to give users an option.

I agree. Custom forms & Point really needs to be free from the requirement to has MS Word installed. Any work being done on this?
