| | We found that we had to check the box "Keep Open" when working with the coborrower screen. When we first entered the primary loan, the coborrower showed up under the Prospect/Co-borrower drop down. We could then select the Co-borrower info and modify. If we did not check the "Keep Open" box, the Coborrower would "dissappear" from teh drop down. If we submitted to DU from this state, only the primary borrower info would pass. We had to exit the loan and reenter it to get he Coborrower info back. Why is this. Should it be normal behavior to use the "Keep Open" box checked. |

| | The correct way to upload non-married borrower files to Fannie Mae is to submit the file from the primary Borrower file and both applications are submitted. The co-borrower 1 application will not go through if there is no social or it is incomplete, so check it and be sure all digits for the ssn have been entered. also, Novell will rip off the .cb1 information when being submitted from the network. work around is to create a local data folder and copy the file to the local data folder and then submit it, it will go then, just not from the network location. The same might apply with a network attached storage device of some sort.

| P.S. You should never have to use the keep open box for anything other than wanting to view multiple pages on one screen.
