| | The netsetup has been reinstalled, however when we click on the Point Admin we get a point admin.exe failed to start message. Cannot figure out why it is doing that. Please advise |

| Go into the winpoint folder on any workstation where Point 7.0 is installed. Copy over the files beginning with "mfc" from the winpoint folder and the file pointadmin.exe.config and paste them into the netsetup folder.

| | 7.0 has not be installed correctly on the server yet all the computers with calyx are still running 6.2b. we got that message after installing the netsetup on server |

| What version of Netsetup is on the server? 7.0 or 6.2?

| Can you install Point 7.0 on a test computer and copy those files mentioned in my earlier post to the Netsetup folder?

| | none of our user pc's have the pointadmin.exe.config file in there winpoint folder. the other 3 mfc were on there machines |

| There is not a pointadmin.exe.congif file there is a pdsconnect.exe.config but this is only needed for setting up pds and typically 7.0 does not need them.

| With netsetup install you would just copy the mfc files into the netsetup directory which should be where setup.exe and pointadmin.exe are.
