Training Specialist Description:

 

We are a growing mortgage company seeking a talented, motivated and experienced person to provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and training to loan agents, processors and mortgage bank staff. You will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and work closely with the training group as an integral member of the training team, developing and executing a variety of exciting programs and projects related to the screening, hiring and training of our employees. We seek someone who is willing and able to execute the multitude of tasks necessary to plan and deliver new, effective training programs while supporting the existing HR/training infrastructure. You must be energetic, intelligent, proactive, articulate and a team player, with a strong track record of developing and delivering successful training programs.

Job Responsibilities:
• Deliver training classes on a variety of mortgage industry-related subjects
• Design, implement and execute various training courses in person and via web-based technology, either live or recorded
• Provide post-class support and follow-up with students after training has occurred
• Maintain procedural materials and provide update trainings as needed
• Collaborate with members of the mortgage bank and training teams to perform needs analyses and draft proposals for future training-related projects

Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience in the mortgage industry, preferably in the financial services sector
• Undergraduate degree in finance, education, or liberal arts, or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrate the ability to devise creative methods for the delivery of technical and compliant information
• Proven record of exceptional teaching skills
• Proficient in the following software applications: Microsoft Office suite, Calyx Point
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Tactfulness and proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations
• High energy, self-motivated and service-oriented attitude
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships and motivate others
• Strong organizational skills, attention to details and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to multi-task and manage time and responsibilities effectively
