Will Point ever be able to handle Excel, Powerpoint, and PDF files?  One of the main draw backs from Point is the ability to have our rate sheets, reports, and other marketing materials housed inside the software.  With OpenClose our online vendor we have a place called InfoCenter where we are able to upload any type of file that users can pull down to their C: or attach to their loans.

Something like this would really be nice in the future.

Thank you,

Eric J. Lilly

You can do this now - sort of.  If you move the file into the Point data directory where the point file is saved and name it the same as the Point file, it will be managed by Point in any copy or move operation. This doen't give you much functionality. It also makes the files harder to find and you can't name them logically so there's not much utility to this.

It would be nice if Point had a document management feature.
