| | Can someone tell me the purpose of the above folder? It looks like the files generated inside of this folder don't contain much data. Just the version number.

| My print groups show up under C:\WINPOINT\pcl as BRWPG - COBRWPG - PRSPG - COPRSBG .INI files.

| There are two types of print groups uses and shared. the user print group was stored in pcl and the shared reside in the template directory.

| | Ok we utilize the users groups in the PCL folder. We are on version 5.4 - when we move to 6.1a or 6.2 will these files continue to be in the PCL folder or will the be moved under Documents and Settings? We do not have PDS so shared groups under the PNTTEMPL folder would really have no effect.

| | They will move with 6.1 or 6.2 You don't need to have PDS to take advantage of shared print groups your users would just need to all point to the same pnttempl directory.
