| | Running PDS 6.1, Point 6.0 We are having files randomly disappear. There is no rhyme/reason that we can see to which ones go away, but it's happened to about 10 files as of yesterday to 7 different branches/data folders. Have you heard of this ever happening? |

| | dianatx, By any chance, do the missing files each have/had a co-borrower (CB1) file associated with them? |

| | I have this exact issue happening! Clients are gettings pissed off to no end with Point... They have already decided to drop Point and go to Encompass at the end of the year. Anyways. I have this issue where users are in Coborrower and when they switch back to Borrower it deletes all the stuff! What the hell! |

| | No, none of these files that are disapearing have a coborrower association. We have done a full resynch and this issue is still happening. |

| | We are using PDS server 6.0 and Calyx 6.1a. We have also had several files over the past three weeks go missing. We had to reterive them from our back up system. One of them did have a co-borrower file but others were regular calyx files. They have gone missing from both the Prospect and Borrower folders.

| We have not had this happen. Just curious what version of Point do you use? Are you networked? Do you use PDS if so what version? What OS do you run?
Thank you,Eric J. Lilly |

| Using Windows 2003 server, PDS 6.1, Point 6.1A. Workstations are using Windows XP.
Never had this problem until we updated to Point 6.1... This is getting stupidly ridiculous. Every single day we have to restore files from backup all because a user had a coborrower and then went back to view the borrower. Seeing as Point will not recognize the issue and their supposed fix when we complained when it started happening with 6.1 was to install 6.1A
Guess what it still is broke. So now Calyx the fix is to replace your software sadly we have to put up with this issue until the end of the year before we can switch over to our new program! |

| I apologize for the inconvenience. This issue is resolved in the Point 6.2 release, due out in a couple weeks.

| Bryan Telford (9/3/2008) I apologize for the inconvenience. This issue is resolved in the Point 6.2 release, due out in a couple weeks. No offense... But thats what you guys told me with 6.1a... So forgive me if I dont hold my breath! Perhaps some sort of reimburstment for the expense my client has had to pay our support staff to recover these files on a daily basis for all 50+ users in our company. Not to mention the amount of time lost for newer files that were not part of the nightly backups because the LO input them just that day and what do you know poof... All their efforts gone. Anyways my anger and venting gets out on here since I have to deal with pissed off clients (Loan Officers) for a mistake Ive been told was fixed with 6.1a when 6.1 (6.0b was our previous) broke it all to begin with. I mean how the hell do you screw up code that bad for something as simple as going from a Coborrower to a Borrower screen? Are we taking lessons from Microsoft Vista designers themselves? Shesssh |
