On FHA loans only, when we have POINT calculate the monthly insurance amount it shows properly on the screen for all forms.

HOWEVER, when we print the 1003 the number changes and we have to handwrite it in.  After the 1003 prints the screen then changes to the wrong number in all areas.  We have to go through a system of re-choosing to calculate it on certain screens to get it right.  Is there a fix to this???

I have experienced the same problem on many versions of Point. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I have not found a rhyme or reason as to why. I'm now on 6.0b, same story.

Anyone find an answer to this?

I think the issue is resolved in Point 6.2, due out in a couple weeks

On Point v6.2 the term of monthly premium is still printing incorrectly on the HUD/VA addendum.  Is there a workaround?  Is Point v6.2a on the horizon?

We are hearing that. Can you try this workaround? Click the Mtg Insurance button on borrower information and retype the number of months.

We are hearing that. Can you try this workaround? Click the Mtg Insurance button on borrower information and retype the number of months.

I always use that screen, and everything sticks (UFMIP, months, cancel at, etc.) EXCEPT for the monthly percentage. When I hit the MI button on pg. 2 of the 1003 (Monthly Housing Exp.) to confirm, the percentage I entered will be there, auto-recalc is checked, and a different dollar amount appears. Click OK, and that dollar does not populate on the 1003, BUT does carry over to the MCAW & FHA Addendum.

Then, just for kicks, I go back to the Borrower Info Screen, hit the Mtg Ins button at the bottom, and the monthly percentage is blank. All my other entries are maintained.

I'm left scratching my head about how Point is actually calculating these numbers, which is correct, why certain fields vanish, why I can get a matching set to print out, etc...

We did try that workaround, however, the addendum still prints the wrong number of months.
