When one of my processors had an issue when uploading a brw w/cb1 to Desktop Underwriter.  The co-borrower (cb1) information did not import to D.U. therefore causing a manual entry of all information.

Anyone else have this issue and does anyone have a solution?

Thanks to all who reply with suggestions.

1. First you'll want to make sure the borrower on the cb1 file is listed the first borrower position. If that co-borrower had a spouse, then the spouse should be entered in the co-borrower position on the cb1 file

2. You could also check the co-borrower SSN on the cb1 file. I have seen DO/DU not read the co-borrower when the SSN was accidentally typed the same as the primary borrower SSN.

3. I know you mentioned in a different post that you have a Novell network. There is a rare issue where this can happen to files that reside on Novell servers (what version of Netware do you run?).

Also, in regards to your solutions in 1 and 2, everything was correct in those aspects.  We have never had the issue in the past, only since upgrading to 5.1

Any updates to this issue.  We're seeing the exact same thing.

These are the progression of error messages we get when trying to submit loans to DU.
