WA has three state specific forms - is there the possibility of having those as standard forms?

And a new one.

Specifically:

Under Washington law, the disclosure must be provided on a separate paper and must be given to the applicant first, before any other disclosures are provided. Therefore, if the disclosure is mailed to the applicant, it must be on top of the stack of documents being mailed. If disclosures are to be provided electronically, the disclosure form must be the first
one that opens in the e-mail.

So how can we force it to be the first attachment they open while it's still a Custom Form? Even when it becomes a built-in form, we use multiple print groups. There will need to be a way to indicate that this form has a higher 'stack' order than any of the others which either keeps it at the top of the print dialogue queue, or in some other way to makes it the first document.

Edit: Here's a link to a sample.

Ok, I've been trying to create a custom form for this until a built-in one is released, but I'm stuck at the point where Point creates the PDF.

I converted the sample PDF in the link to Word and imported it into Point. I can print to paper without any difficulty. When I choose Email as PDF or Save as PDF, I get the following error:

Activation Error
Printer not activated, error code -30

Pressing OK, then brings up:

AutoWord
An error has occured. Please verify that you have a licensed version of MS Word installed.

Then:

Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup.
Try one or more of the following:
*Check the printer by printing a test page from Windows.
*Make sure the printer is turned on and online.
*Reinstall the printer driver.

And finally:

PDF File Error
Failed to create C:\Documents and Settings\....

I can confirm that I have a licensed version of MS Word installed. Any ideas on fixing the errors? Has anyone else created a custom form for this new WA law that works? I'm currently using 6.1

Can you create a pdf from point forms?  This error usually means that you need to save as pdf under an admin account(one time only.)

Yes, the built-in forms and the custom forms I already have are working fine. I have local admin rights.

Regarding the WA law and the text itself - have you researched to make sure this is the required form?  If it is I'm confused because I received an email this week from WA's Department of Financial Institutions that is very similar to the form you created but with some very significant differences in the text and that letter (the recent one emailed by DFI) was labeled as "proposed."  Are you sure the form your corporate office said was mandatory as of June 12th is in fact mandatory at this point?

Just to clarify, I didn't create the form in that link and notice wasn't from my corporate office. That notice and the sample form are from one of the lenders we use. If I want to send a WA file to them, I have to use that form based on their interpretation of the law. I cannot comment on how they conducted their research to create the form.

Before I take the time to attempt creating this as a custom form again, has anyone else done it already successfully?

sb1920alk, I've not worked on this because I'm still confused over what is legally required at this point. I consider myself to be pretty proficient with regulations but WA is about the worst communicator I've seen when it comes to telling us what is "proposed" versus "law."

However, they've got a Dept. of Financial Institutions meeting in a couple of weeks and I'm hoping all their new disclosures will be on the agenda.
