In a flow in which we do a File/Export to a custom template, everything works fine if the target application (MSWord) is not active/open.

However, when we attempt an export to Word while MSWord is already active, we get the following error (and the process dies):

Unable to create output data file.

The target application is defined in the template (via path to the executable). Is there some command line option (e.g.,   /xoption) that we can add to the template to prevent this error?  Or do you have another suggestion for my situation?

TIA  and  Enjoy!
