| | Hello, Which CRM integrates well (exports/imports seamlessly) with Calyx 6.0? What CRMs do you have experiences with? Thank you, Marine |

| | This is an ongoing quest for me. As a matter of fact, I just spent two more hours today looking for a CRM solution that really works. WorkCenter (vForms) seems to integrate well but I don't like the CRM functions as well as I do in ACT! or Goldmine. Neither of those integrate natively with Point but you can buy add-ons that will do the job. The real problem so far has been to really have the CRM folks understand the mortgage business. The integration is fairly straight forward as far as getting data from Point to the CRM. It's what happens after that. So far, the only thing I have found are a few applications that slightly reduce the amount of effort required to maintain decent customer relations. Thus far, every single application I have found fails to properly identify opportunities in Point files. You still have to do a fair amount of hand filtering. Some applications still create duplicate contacts for people with more than one Point file. Thus far, I have seen none that work well with PDS. <Soapbox>There are a plethora of sas (software-as-a-service) CRM applications, the most notable being SalesForce.com. I cannot see where these mostly web-based services really offer any distinct advantage over something like ACT! (Sage Software) in terms of functionality. I have also noticed some distinct difficulties with these technologies. Most importantly, they are FAR more expensive per user, even over the first year.</Soapbox> For a smaller office (1-50 loan officers), ACT! is probably the better choice with an integration add-on. With ACT! Premium you can share the database in real time and do a fair amount of detailed management. (No, I don't work for Sage Software.) Goldmine is my second choice. Outlook is a distant third although the Prophet add-on by Avidian makes Outlook more attractive. As far as integration, I'm recommending a customized sync routine that does the synchronization the way you want it done. At the same time, I prefer one contact for multiple loans and the individual loans to show up as opportunities. This helps you manage your customer relationships in a much more logical manner with a lot less work.
