How do I create or download a Florida Title table?

The Calyx help instructions do not address cumulative rates.

5.75 for first 100,000.00

5.00 for each 1,000.00 after.

For the table to calculate correctly, you need to prepare a table for each price point (usually every $1,000). This can be quite tedious. In addition, the title table will only hold so many entries. In my experience, you can only get into the mid-400k range before you have to split the table ($0-500k, 500k-$1MM, etc.) The table format is fairly straight forward. You can view it by opening a title table in notepad. It's just an ini file.

You can create a table from a spreadsheet then put it in the correct ini format. This tends to be a bit faster. There are also some utilities for building these tables (commercial) or you can have someone build them for you.

I haven't checked the calculation method in Point since version 5.4 but the last I knew, this was the only way to get an accurate title or escrow table. Drop me an email if you have any additional questions about the commercial products.
