I am trying to import a FNMA 3.2 file into Point v. 5.4 and when I get to Point, my employment information for all borrowers other than borrower 1 is missing.  I also tried exporting a FNMA 3.2 file from Point and re-importing it into Point and I get the same result.  Any ideas?

1. Make sure that both borrowers have the SSN entered (FNMA uses this to keep track of what employment belongs to whom)

2. Make sure the Point file isn't corrupted

3. Use the same FNMA version (FNMA3.2 is recommended) when exporting

You will lose some data when you go to/from FNMA because it is not designed for processing. It deals primarily with fields on the 1003 and 1008. Still, the employment is something that it contains. It links the employer to the borrower/co-borrower using the social security number.

I have tried the same thing with Point 6.0a and didn't experience any problems but I don't have a currently installed 5.4 version to test it with.

Ya I have tried this too... in 5.4, if you import a FNMA 3.2 file (verified the file is correct with several other systems) it doesn't work for co-borrower files employment.  Just plain doesn't come in.  Is there any fix/patch for this?
