Hello,

I have a new laptop with a small Hard Drive (32GB SSD) After installing Point 6.0 I noticed much less room on the drive. Around 6GB less! I checked the knowledge base for the requirements to see how much space Point 6.0 needs and saw 20GB listed!!

It also shows 15GB of free space required to run on Vista and I only have 6GB of free space left on my small SSD.

The Point 6.0 software seems to run fine since it is a fairly powerful laptop but what's the deal? How much room does 6.0 really use and require?

Does anyone have any recommendation to free-up some of the space that 6.0 takes-up?

Thanks all.

PS - Here are the link from the knowledge base. http://kb.calyxsupport.com/kb/article.php?id=428

100 MB(Point) + 150 MB(Dot net 1.1) = 250MB.  We recommend on vista that you have 20 GB of free hard drive space because the OS tends to run better.  If your suddenly missing 6GB of hard drive space is wasn't Point.
