We currently use the SQL DB from PDS to create our own custom reports using Crystal reports.  We send out reports to different branches of our company and have to customize them accordingly.  The issue we are having is that when we rebuild the Additional or Custom Fields Tables it seems to remove the data from the SQL DB for those fields.  The only way we have found to repopulate the data into the SQL DB is to go into each loan thru Point and save each file.  We are wondering if there is a work around or some way to force all the data for those fields to populate inside the SQL DB without having to save each file thru Point individually.  Has anyone else seen this behavior and can anyone provide some direction on how we might fix this issue?

under the rebuild custom/additional table button there is a check box to for a resync of all data folder check that then click the rebuild button.

We have been using the check mark, Full Synchronize (Forced) of all data folders.  We also wait until the sync has completed, Synchronize Folder (Forced), for all the data folders.  The issue is not resolved after all the data folders have been synced.  Any other thoughts would be appriciated.

when you watch the order of events on the status page what do you see first the rebuild of the table or the re-sync of all the data folders?

Under Status we see the rebuild of the table first then followed by the resync (forced) of all the datafolders.

Looks like we did have some errors and warnings for the Application Event Viewer.  Here is a pattern I have noticed when we attempt to rebuild the fields (please start at the bottom at work your way up):

Can you look again in the event log and look only for error events for the windows service "CalyxPDSFileSync"?  You want to do this after stopping and restarting the windows service "CalyxPDSFileSync" and trying to force a synch on your data folders again.

I have been having the same kind of problems. But i got no error. The only thing is happening is the CalyxPdsFileSyn service is stopping by itself, so i am restarted again and again. It keeps stopping.

I checked the status in the admin area it still says In Progress.

I left it the way it is for few hours and all of a sudden the admin area got locked up and people were having problems saving the files, saying that it was already Reserved for someone (the same user) and can't get it, so i had to manually remove the reservations. That happened a lot today.

So what you think the problem is
