Hi All,
I'm running:
Point 5.4
PDS 5.3
Everyone has access to templates.
I create tasks for my LO's under their .brw file, I then create reminders for the task, I then assign the task to the appropriate LO, I always get the reminder. Is there a way to for the LO to get the reminders instead?

TIA

No currently only the user can assign reminders to them self.

Ok, thanks.

I'd like to suggest for this to be changed in a future update.  Our manager here would really like to be able to assign her employees tasks in Point, and then they get them, ...not her.

Thank you for this consideration.

I'll mention this to our team.  However we desinged reminders to explicetly prevent what you would like to do.

Why would you want to explicitly prohibit allowing a manager to assign tasks to employees?  It seems like that would be a pretty common and important function.  Without it we are forced to switch out of Point and into ACT! or Outlook to accomplish the function.

I agree with Mike.  It makes total sense to give managers this functionality.  Why prevent managers from doing this?

Put me down as yet another in support of allowing managers to actually utilize the tasks feature of Point.
