| | I was wondering how can I run point on my laptop when out of the office and not hooked up to my network i would like to be able to work on files at realtors office etc. and at home and then transfer them once back at office. any help would be great |

| | Have you looked at Point Data Server (PDS)? http://www.calyxsoftware.com/products/pds/index.asp It allows you and your co-workers to access your loan files from wherever you have an Internet connection.

| | I cant afford point data server just yet i just wanted to know if it was paossible to use point on my laptop when away from the office then sync back up when I come in |

| Take a look through the Knowledge Base, most of what you want to do is covered there. You should only have to add a new data folder on your laptops hardrive. http://kb.calyxsupport.com/kb/article.php?id=375 should walk you through that. Now you will be able to run point when not on the network and copy the files from this local data folder back to the network one when you get back to the office.

| | There is functionality built into Windows specifically used to sync files between computers which would work for syncing Point between a laptop and a network. It is called Briefcase. You can check it out here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/142574/en-us
