| You could try it. Crossover for Linux could not run Dot Net. Maybe Crossorver for Mac can.

| | You don't need XP? parallels with run win 2000 too. I am an IT guy and I work for 5 mortgage companies Point works awesome in parallels. XP runs faster on my macbook pro than an PC I have used. Get parallels, xp or 2k and dont use the PC side on the internet . Set up your email client to send not receive mail so you can send mail out of point, and for get about putting anti-virus software on it it will fly. You only need to allocate about 200MB of ram to the VM to run point and XP. Close adny files in Point before suspending the Virtual Machine you can leave point running. I can boot up XP with Point open faster than most office PC's can load point... |

| You should look at the thread on Calyx on Linux. With a hosted Calyx you can easily use Point on the Mac. Its so easy that anyone can do it.

| | A couple of suggestions: 1) buy it on eBay 2) if you're buying a new computer, specifically ask the manufacturer if they can install XP in it for you instead of Vista.
