One of our processors, running Point 5.4 on Windows 2000, is trying to use DU on a loan application. Though it continually gives a message of Windows 2000 not being supported, it has generally worked until now. She clicks OK on her saved user name and password, and a message box flickers, disappears, and a new message box appears:

box title: Fannie Mae Import Transaction

message: Creating Dispatch Failed

Is this an error possibly with the file, or the DU connector in Point, or is this a problem on Fannie Mae's end?

It's an xml dll error on Point's side.

1. Close Point.
2. Click Start, and choose Run
3. Type regsvr32 -u msxml4.dll
4. Click OK on the message box (it should indicate unregister was successful)
5. Click Start, and choose run
6. Type regsvr32 msxml4.dll, and click OK
7. Restart Point, and try DU again.
