You may have the client install of SP3, instead of the administrative install -

Hello all,

I have finally figured out what was causing the issue.  Word had an Add-In that was running each time the software was started.  The Add-In was ScanSoft's PDF Converter 4.0 we use this software to convert PDF docs to Word docs for uploading on Calyx Point.

Anyway, I removed the software and installed it on my test machine.

Thank you to everyone for their time.

Take care,
Eric J. Lilly

Thank you,

Eric J. Lilly

Interesting. I found problems with version 4 of PDF pro as well. I eventually went back to version 3 of the PDF converter only, and haven't any problems. The PDF -> Word conversion is much cleaner too.
