Hi we have a 2003 DC with the main point install and new 2003 TS to replace or old white box 2000 TS.

 I installed point from the netsetup (ConfigServer), I have copied WINPOINT into each users local profile along with the WINDOWS folder for the winpoint.ini. my questions are

1. which should I use as the shortcut start.exe or winpoint.exe both seem to work and why one over the other. the short cut is from the users profile

2. how do I redirect the work file in the ini, when I export it asks where to put the file (I have created a WORK folder on the users desktop as a quick fix)

3. when a users emails a PDF it hangs and locks up, this seems to be the only problem yet.

4. I wish could talk with someone about this setup, I see the script from Isupport very nice but I have never worked with one nor do I have the time we are bringing in 30 new users into our already 25 users for a total of 55 users that need to be online Nov 1,

I have read almost every post in the past two weeks and this install seems to work for our needs. any help would be great.

1. Use start.exe. This will check for updates on your netsetup folder and update the client. Winpoint.exe does not check for updates.

2. The current version does not have a redirection for the Work folder.
