We are considering upgrading to PDS 5.3 from standalone Point. One of the known issues is - "The HMDA Report generates 6 for the Race code for all files."

The resolution states to uninstall 5.3 on one workstation and reinstall 5.2. My understanding is that for PDS 5.3, all the workstations must be running 5.3 as well. So this seems to be not an option.

Is there a workaround for this situation? Or is the PDS version 5.3 unaffected? Or is another workaround pending?
