| On our W2k Term Servers, after the Point 5.3 upgrade, users couldn't send a Form as E-mail. They would receive an error saying "Unable to create d:\documents and settings\ etc...\work\Forms(legal).pdf"
The solution was simple, but thought I would throw it out there for everyone. Just login as an Admin and perform the operation once. We had to logon to each of our servers independently as an Admin and send one PDF from each.
I'm sure if I had the time I could have found which Local Machine Reg Keys were being modified, but sometimes you just have to get things running...
BTW: The PDF driver v2.5 appears to be faster in our TS environments. Don't know if that's real or not it just seams to pop up instead of hesitating a few seconds.

| | Hi, We have this issue on our Citrix servers and I can't seem to get it working. Are you talking about logging in with a windows account that has admin rights on the citrix server?... or an admin for Point? |

| | I'm having the same problem... I have tried isupport's fix, but it didn't work. My account has domain admin privileges but even I cannot create PDFs to my "p:\winpoint\work" folder. My user profiles are in the D: drive and I map P: to the user's profile folder, where there is a copy of the winpoint folder. Has anyone else noticed that everytime a user logs in to the terminal server a new registry entry is created for the PDF converter for that session and is _never_ removed? I guess I should mention that this is a Windows 2000 terminal server, no Citrix. |

| | I have assigned my TS users a TS HOME; the WINDOWS folder in here is were the winpoint.ini file should be. That is assuming that each user is running their own winpoint application in their TS profile folder. This may be the reason that many are having issues, unless everyone has managed to succesfully copy the setup that iSupport has on his servers which, I assume, is the reason that logging in with the admin account resolved things for the rest of the accounts. |
