For status you might want to look at what the reporting engine uses. STAT is a macro with a field id of 30000.

When your looking for Point fields just look at the supported field list/table.  Its not only a list, it serves as a map as well.

Well that's much easier. Luckily it didn't take use long to write our function.

I "*** u me d" the macro table was something totally different for some reason.
