Is there a patch that will allow one to modify custom forms in version 5.2?  This worked fine in ver 5.1.

I am able to modify custom forms all the time without a problem. What is happening when you try to edit a custom form?

Sorry, I just noticed you put the error in yoru post "Description" field, so I missed it the first time when replying. Does the runtime error happen with a particular form, or every single custom form you try to edit? Just trying to find out the cause by process of elimination.

I am getting a Runtime error also. When I go to import a Word doc to use as a custom form Word dsiplays a runtime error and nothing loads on the page. Something about "autoword.exe" error. I am using 5.2. I can not import or edit. I am able to preview existing custom forms.

Thanks,

John

jnunnally: Can you attach the custom form in question to your post reply? If you click the "Edit Attachments" button in the Post Options section, you can can attach a Word file. You can also private message me if you prefer.

Hi Bryan,

Attached are the errors I'm getting.  I am simply trying to create a pre-approval letter in Word then import it into custom forms to edit.  I am able to edit the custom forms already in Point.  Follow up:  Sometimes I can open the custom forms and sometimes not.  If I shut down Point and restart I can open the form and edit it but not all of the time.  Is Point not communicating with Word 2003?

Thanks,

john

Calyx e-mailed the fix.  It is blank space in the customscreen file located in pnttemple.
