Point doesn't import fields 965 & 1022 when it executes a CCS overlay. It doesn't matter which screen you enter it in.

Loan programs, on the other hand (the button right above the closing cost scenario button on the GFE) can import it. You just can't enter the field when you set up a loan program. If you want to store your closing cost scenarios in a loan programs, here's a less-than-simple workaround:

  1. Create a new borrower master.
  2. Enter the Origination fee on the GFE & any other closing costs you want to control
  3. Click File | Save As ..
  4. On the file dialog window, navigate to the LOANPROG directory in the templates folder.
  5. Type in the file name you want with an .lpr extension and save it
  6. Open the file as a loan program then name and save it

The next time you want to overlay a closing scenario, you can do it with the loan program you just created and it will import your origination fee.

If it's mission-critical, there are other things that are a little smoother but they take some programming.

Have you found an answer to this question? I'm having the same problem and can't figure out why.

Thanks,

Melissa

I was wondering if this issue was going to be addressed in a future release.  It doesn't make sense to me that the origination fee field is controlled by the Loan Program Template rather than the Closing Cost Scenario

I've been waiting for 2+ years for this...  As you can see I started this thread in late '05.

To this day, I still have errors that I have to track because I have to rely on loan officers to input a fee that I'd love to be able to make part of a CC scenario.
