Anyone know any tricks I can set to limit the user the ability to save to the local drive and uncheck the auto number save when they click the save.  The box pops up and allows the user the option to brows to another location and or uncheck the auto save check box??  The users are connecting to our PDS server and I need them to save the data to the server.

    Thanks for any insight..

There is no such setting in PDS.  Thanks for the request though: I have moved the thread to the "PDS Suggestion and Requests forum" and forwarded it to the relevant folks in the Point/PDS teams.

Ahhh... but it is good that we see your request / suggestion here! Let us know in this Suggestions & Requests area what you need or wish you could do. We'll take your suggestions into consideration as we work on improving Point, PDS and other Calyx products.

Point and PDS share an interesting relationship in that Point let you do anything even if it doesn't make sense in a completed loan. Like entering "Call Mary" for Loan Amt. PDS is geared to larger organizations that need control of the loan process and data to serve customers better and reduce costs. So PDS ignores things like "Call Mary" in Loan Amt. Point can be run without creating Point user logins. PDS requires a PDS User login to use Point.

We're getting feedback from users like yourself about ways to improve Point operation with PDS to give the best of both worlds - the ease of use of Point with the centralization and control of PDS to provide users and the organization with a system to serve customers better and reduce costs!

Your comment, as many suggestions we get on these message boards, are under consideration for our future releases.

So we appreciate your feedback and comments. Thank you!

I thought I would mention that Point 6.0 added the ability to deny access to local data folders this pds feature should cover your needs.
