We were told we didn't need to update PointCentral from version 7.2 to 7.3 prior to updating clients to Point version 7.4 SP1. Now that SP2 is coming out next week for Point, do we need to update to PointCentral 7.3 and do the server update released today prior to updating Point to 7.4 SP2?

I updated to PointCentral 7.3 and also did the server update, and thought I would pass along some info on something that stumped me. Hopefully it will save someone else some time. In the instructions, it wants you to enter SQL Server name (among other things). I didn't realize SQL Server name is really is server name\SQL instance. So in my case, the server name it wanted was point\sqlexpress.
