Can anyone please tell me easiest way to copy all Point data (data folders, borrower files and master templates) to a new computer.  In years past all I had to do was from Windows explorer, C drive, copy both Point Data folder (PNTDATA) and templates (PNTTEMPL) folders and paste into USB drive, then copy back in new computer.  I can see all data transfered to USB drive correctly including all borrower files, but when I try to paste them into Point on new computer nothing carries over (even though I get a message that it has).  I've tried running the "rebuild" list, and still nothing.  I need to basically move everything, Data folders, borrower & prospect files, ALL templates and cardex files.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Susie

SChristian

Thats all you should have to do on a regular computer running Point (not PDS).  Does the new computer have permissions to see th data folder?  Also, check the file propertys Read/Write.

Thank you,

Eric J. Lilly
