Designate a field in one of the custom forms (or anywhere for that matter) as the link field.

2. Put the full path in that field

3. Have users click in the field then use the following keystrokes:

a. Ctrl-a (to highlight and select all)

b. Ctrl-c (to copy the link)

c. Start-r (to open the run command) - i.e. hold the windows key down and press r

d. Ctrl-v (to past)

e. Enter

This is 5 keystrokes so they have to practice it a bit but it will work. There isn't a way to embed an explorer command in a point field.

RE: Hyper links in point

Sorry, I don't have a solution - but I like the idea. We utilize our efax as well as a scanner to save all our borrower's docs. The files are saved in the borrowers folder on our server. Is there a way to post a hyperlink in point so the processors can click on the link and it will take ithem to the borrower's folder (ie path //server/borrower/johnson). Everytime I try to add a hyperlink it is coded as a mail to item. So when we click on the link point tries to email to the hyperlink instead of directing to the hyperlink. I don't know if this is possible or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
