So it would be nice to be able to edit forms that are printed from POINT with the "save as PDF file" output option. For example, it would be nice to be able to highlight with Acrobat's highlighting tool all the places where the applicant should sign. Can't you (Calyx) just tell us what the password is?

RE: Printing to pdf problems

Point's dialog is asking for a viewing password. the content is always protected from edits. However, even if I chose NO to the password protect when I go to combine the pdf documents into one file (using Adobe Acrobat 8.0 full version) I get an error message that says I must enter a password to remove the "protection" from the individual files before Adobe can combine them. I can't say for sure but it even looks like a Point dialog box that is popping up for me to input the non-existent password.

Any ideas on how I can combine pdf documents once they've been created via Point? The same problem occurs if I bypass Point's pdf converter and select to Print the Point document and then select the Acrobat printer from my printer drop down menu. Same result - can't combine the individual file.

Mike
