Printing a custom form from a custom screen

I have a custom screen that has several custom fields in them. when I click on the print button it brings up the custom screen fields. I do not want that document printed I wanted a another custom document that I created printed. Is there anyway to assign custom forms to custon screens when selecting the print button?

Print Crash in Point CBaseView.FilePrint

Cannot open or print custom forms

I installed office 2010 on my computer and since than the existing custom forms will not open.

it only gives me microsoft software installer error.

please help i need to print forms for my application.

We have just in the last 2 weeks been getting this error message when we try to open up our faxes that come through and get saved to our network.

"Adobe reader could not open output.pdf because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)."

We can open up all other documents with Adobe and have no problems, we have also saved things as pdfs and everything. Nothing else seems to be having an issue except when we receive a fax that automatically gets saved to our network.
I double verified to make sure there were no "special" characters within the path name of the folder and there isn't. I have done tons of research and everything I have come across has not helped at all.

I have called HP who says they don't know anything about this error and that it should be Adobe's problem. When I called Adobe I didn't get any answers because we have to pay for their support team to help.

Any help would be wonderful because we are at a loss as to what to do right now with this situation.

Can't save as a .pdf anymore

When I try to save a form such as the GFE as a .pdf from the print screen (Output Option - Save as .pdf file) it doesn't work. Instead I get a 0 kb file and an error message in acrobat that says:

"Adobe Reader could not open '(name of file)' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded."

Please advise, I really liked being able to save directly as a .pdf without having to scan the printout.

Highlight tool in Adobe doesn't work with some of our Point installations

We have a new originator who started with us this month so he had a brand new computer, new installation of Point and Acrobat. He is running Point 7.5 SP1 and Acrobat X.

When he prints a file from Point with the output option of Save as PDF file (and does not password protect the file), he is not able to highlight any part of the document using the highlight tool in Acrobat X. Also, at the top left corner of one document the word "HI" appears as if someone used the typewriter tool in Acrobat to type the word, but he's not typing it.

When his processor prints the file the same way, e-mails it to the loan originator, then he can highlight the document before saving and sending to the customer. The only difference is that his processor uses Acrobat 8 and he uses Acrobat X.

I've checked the Acrobat message boards and can't find anything about this. Do any of you have any suggestions?

Bottom portion of forms cut off when printing

Have a few users that are having issues with Point freezing when printing or emailing documents. All computers recently had service pack 1 installed. Anyone else have this issue?

Uninstalled SP1..so far so good.

They are all 32bit Windows 7 Professional

Itemization of Amount Financed sheet printing problem

When printing a file, for some reason on several people's computer, the itemization of amount financed sheet does not print in legal size. All of the other documents that are supposed to print legal do, but this sheet comes out letter sized, thus cutting off the bottom portion that is required. The LO then has to reprint the single sheet, go through the packet and replace, etc. Just busy work. Anyone have a solution???

Printer error -30

We have recently updated some printer drivers for our laserfische program. Now, we have random folks (not all of them) who are no longer able to email documents out of POINT. The printer error -30 is coming up on their screens. We tried to unistall/reinstall of the Calyx Amyuni per the KB article, but to no avail. Any ideas?

7.4 Just Installed, Loan Amounts Disappearing When Print Attempted

Obviously have no time to sit on hold for 75 minutes to only have Calyx say "It's a known issue and we don't have a workaround".

Anyone else experiencing this? And, if so, any workarounds? Impossible to accurately hedge our pipeline with many loans not having loan amounts inputted.

Printing same document multiple times

Is anyone else having this problem? We use Print Groups, lately since the 7.4 upgrade when i go to print, it will print the servicing disclosure about 30 times and then not print the rest of the forms. So when i took the servicing disclosure out, it then prints the 4506t out 30 times??? I was hoping this error was specific to just me but apparently everyone else in the office has the same problem. We are on a PDS server, does that matter? :w00t:

Print Groups for CB1

I was just asked if I could update the CB1 Print Groups, as old versions of forms are printing, and others are missing

Is there an easy way to update the CB1 print groups with out going into each of the BRW ones, screenshot what is in there

and then edit the CB1 again?? The names of the print groups appear to be the same....

I know they can Swap the BRW & CB1 files print and swap back, but just trying to make everything easy!

user printing multiple documents gets garbage on 2nd and subsequent

One user at 7.4 printing multiple docs gets garbage on 2nd and sebsequent documents, others using same printer have no problem. Checked drivers, have reloaded Calyx to PC, changed PC, same problem, any ideas?

Removing Forms from Print Option

Printing envelopes without a return address

Does anyone know if there's a way to keep Point from printing our company's return address at the top left corner of envelopes? We're trying to use our company stationary, but obviously we can't if Point is just going to print over our logo.

TIL (2011)

Whenever the new TIL's, TIL(2011) and TIL(2011 Credit Sale), are saved as a PDF or even Print Previewed the Demand Feature Box is not shown and the Variable Rate Feature is cut off... Is there a way to fix this or is it something that Point has to fix and push in their next release?

-30 error on multiple custom forms trying to print

I am having issues printing out mutiple custom forms. If I print a single form it prints and does its conversion without a problem. If I print out 2 custom forms it will throw up the error and then print and do the conversion thing to the 2nd custom form. This is not becomming repetitive as I am able to start a print job with 7 custom forms and again it will throw up the -30 error and then the rest of them print out fine.

I understand the -30 is a timeout error which I have upped the time out to 240 with no luck. It is not the driver as I can print out individual custom forms without a problem. It is not word as that is installed and registered correctly.

Anyone else having this kind of an issue?

Good Faith Service Provider form prints out blank

Problems with printing the credit report only

I'm having an issue when printing credit reports out of Point. This issue only happens with the credit reports as everything else prints fine.

When I click the print button while viewing the credit report I see a dialogue box pop up and then my browser opens to the address:

C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp\RS1Q02E5.htm

The browser window opens blank and then when I choose my printer all I'm able to print is a blank page.

It appears there is an issue with the temporary directory where the file is created prior to printing.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Point and I have done the same with the Calyx Document Converter.

Any advice?

Printing The Data Screen in Point (Not the Form)

Am doing a tutorial and need to print the actual Calyx SCREEN (where the data is inputted). For example, for page one of the 1003, I don't want to print page one of the URLA, rather the actual data-input screen so I can highlight certain fields, etc.

Any way of doing this?

Heya All,

My client has both point 6.2 and 7.2 on his computer. The 7.2 goes to shared data folders and the 6.2 talks to a pds server. Don't ask me why this is, I didn't set it up. I do though, now have to support it.

The issue is when we try to print from the 6.2 we get a message that "....work/<huge number named dir>/temp.brw not found". I have applied all M$ updates as the KB article states to no avail. Everyone has full control over the directory 'work; and everything below it.

Printing fro 7.2 works fine. Other workstations on the network that have this same setup work fine.

All assistance greatly appreciated!

fha consumer choice disclosure form not auto populating

For any Point login account that uses a template set, the 'FHA Consumer Choice Disclosure Notice' form does not auto-populate the loan information. It works fine for other users that dont require a template set. I cant think of or find any settings that would affect this.

I'm stumped and getting flack from branch offices, any ideas?

This is not a custom form, it is a standard form within Point.

we have fill in information on our templates for Affilated Disclosure form on the borrower side.

but there is no such form for a coborrower # 2 or 3 or 4. so this form is always blank....

Is there a reason? or is it a bug....

Calyx document converter locks up Point

Using 7.2 on Windows 7, latest hardware.

Printing a credit report causes Point to lock up when it gets to the stage of converting to pdf.

Is there a fix in the knowledge base - I couldn't find it.

Printing VOE and VOD

On the 2nd VOE for a borrower (like previous employment), the (F) that is supposed to print in front of our fax number is also printing in front of the processor name.

On every VOD the (F) that is supposed to print in front of our fax number does not print in front of the fax number, and instead prints in front of the name of our company's city in the third line of the address.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I believe when I called a few weeks ago to customer support, I was told that the VOD error was a known error and it was not known when that would be fixed.

I haven't called about the VOE error, thought I'd check here first.

Currently, the only choices are present or mailing address. What about subject address, especially for things you need to mail out after closing, like servicing transfer letters, etc? Can we get an option for something like that?

Printing page 5 of 1003 with different font

How do you set up a loan file so that page 5 of the 1003 prints out in a different font than the rest of the loan application?

Mass law requires a disclosure that must be printed 2 points larger than the rest of the 1003 for all 1-4 family , owner occupied, loan applications.

Custom Form printing error

We have some custom forms set up [used Word2003] and when some users print a custom form, they will receive an error that says "Microsoft Office Word. This file is in use by another application or user. (C:\Documents and settings\...\Normal.dot)" - I'm guessing it may be because Outlook has access to this process [using Word as editor], but is there a work around to not receive this message? If you click OK, the form actually prints; however, we would rather not receive this error!

Printing/Emailing Error "........ TEMP.BRW not found"

I am having trouble printing/emailing/saving my form(s). About 9 out of 10 times I receive an error that states "...................TEMP.BRW not found". I am currently using Version 6.1A and use Windows XP Home Edition.

I work remotely but our corporate office is set up on a PDS so I log-in daily to access all of the files. I have contacted my network administrator and they are clueless. I have also tried other tips like rebuilding my list in Point, checking the security settings, etc with no luck. I'm not sure what to do next or why this is all of a sudden happening. I appreciate any feedback or help. Thanks.
