The error message dialogue box says the operation completed successfully but obviously it didn't. Any thoughts?

PDF Driver Installation Failing To Install On Windows 7

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on my laptop and when I try to install the PDF Printer it fails. User Account Control is Disabled. I am using Point 7.2 and have SP1 installed.

I am trying to install the pdf driver from C:/WINPOINT/PDFInstall.

I also right click and select "Run As Administrator" and it still fails.

An Amyuni Document Convertor screen comes up and here is what it says:

Windows 95/98/Me Install

Checking for existing PDF printer

Copying acfpdf.drv file

Copying cdintf.dll file

Copying acXMLParaser.dll file

Installing Amyuni PDF printer driver

Error Code: 1797

The parameter is incorrect.

Is there a newer version I can install for Vista or Windows 7?

Printing/Emailing Error "........ TEMP.BRW not found"

I am having trouble printing/emailing/saving my form(s). About 9 out of 10 times I receive an error that states "...................TEMP.BRW not found". I am currently using Version 6.1A and use Windows XP Home Edition.

I work remotely but our corporate office is set up on a PDS so I log-in daily to access all of the files. I have contacted my network administrator and they are clueless. I have also tried other tips like rebuilding my list in Point, checking the security settings, etc with no luck. I'm not sure what to do next or why this is all of a sudden happening. I appreciate any feedback or help. Thanks.

Initial Fee Worksheet

Our Compliance Officer doesn't like the fact the HUD line #'s are on the Initial Fee Worksheet. It may lead a borrower to believe it's a GFE. Do you know if you plan on removing the HUD lines in the future?

Good Faith Service Provider form prints out blank

Failing to print

I am currently using Point 7.0 on Windows Vista Home Premium, and when I try to print from within point, I recieve an error message saying, "Unable to retrieve default printer settings." or "Unable to get printer device mode." Once I click ok through that, I get to the Windows Print screen, I hit OK, and then nothing happens. Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this issue?

Emailing Point Forms

We are using PDS 7.0 and Point 7.1.

I have a user that emailed forms to her borrower and received a call that one of the forms had some else's information on it.

My user was printing from a print group. She had a rate lock form open in Adobe Reader 9 that was minimized to her task bar. (This rate lock form is not a point form it is generated by our lock desk of our internal bank.)

When we look at the email in her sent items of Outlook, in the Forms(Other Forms) pdf we see the rate lock form from the open pdf file inserted into this pdf file. This is very dangerous because this particular form has identity information of the other borrower.

I have tried to recreate this and can not.

Any ideas on how this can happen?

Print groups

We have created several shared print groups, based on loan type, so that none of the required disclosures, etc., get missed when printing application packages. In addition to the occasional loss of these groups (which, I understand, should resolve itself once we complete the conversion to PDS), we have noticed another problem. The current 1003 is 5 pages. We have selected LOAN APPLICATION ALL as part of each print group. However, if there is nothing on ANY page 5, it will NOT print a page 5 AT ALL. We have told our personnel that if says page 1 of x, you better have all of x, even if it is blank. How can we get it to print the Loan application -5 in our groups, EVEN IF IT IS BLANK, without selecting each page indivually for insertion into the groups?

Custom Forms no longer Editable

Prior to a resent download we were able to edit Custom Forms prior to printing in the Print Preview status. Now the system will allow you to unprotect the document, make the changes and print except that the changes revert back to the original text.

Can we get custom forms editable again?

Is it possible to print the Track: Status and Checklist screen

We're currently running Point 6.2b (and have PDS for the database).

Is it possible to print the Track: Status and Checklist form, the one accessed from the Menu bar in Point by clicking Track, then Status?

I've looked in form-by-form at all the forms available for printing in the print function and cannot find it.

We would like to include at least the Loan Progress section of the form to include in our hard-copy paper loan files after a loan is closed, cancelled, or declined on the top of the forms in the file so an employee referring to the file at some later date can tell at a glance the history and associated dates.

We're currently using a Word document with hand entries to do that. If we could print this form, it would be much easier.

Pdf printing fixed, now unable to highlight

Point was freezing when trying to print to pdf. I was able to fix that by uninstalling microsoft office live addon 1.3 and i added the null port to the document converter. However, once i print to pdf file and open with adobe reader i am not allowed to highlight, it is grayed out. How can i re-enable this? Thank you

point 6.0 printer not activated message

when anyone in my company try's to import a point file to a pdf for email, we receive the error that the printer is not activated with the error code -41.

AutoWord/Tempsrc.dat error

We have a number of users that are getting the following error message when they are trying to either print custom forms or attached them to an e-mail from Clayx:

"A sharing violation occurred while accessing C:\DOCUME~!\user_name\LOCALS~1\Temp\tempsrc.dat"

Some have also had this, in addition to the above message:

Runtime Error!
Program C:WINPOINT\AutoWord.exe
This application has request the runtime to terminate it in an unsuall way. Please contact the application's support team for more information"

This is only happening on machines that have MS Office XP. We have tried resetting permissions, reinstalling Calyx (including removing the C:\WINPOINT directory before reinstalling), but nothing seems to work. We can sometimes get the error to go away by simply restarting the machine, but the error eventually happens again.
We are on PDS 6.2 build 999.82. I have attached some screen shots of the error messages.

AutoWord.exe failure

This user does not have Micro$oft Word installed on his PC (XP Pro). Instead he has OpenOffice.

A custom form we created fails to print with an error pop up: "AutoWord.exe Failed to Print. Cannot Perform Command". Then the option to "report the issue to MS" comes up.

I hope we can change the default word processor option in Point. Could you please direct me to where it is?

-30 error on multiple custom forms trying to print

I am having issues printing out mutiple custom forms. If I print a single form it prints and does its conversion without a problem. If I print out 2 custom forms it will throw up the error and then print and do the conversion thing to the 2nd custom form. This is not becomming repetitive as I am able to start a print job with 7 custom forms and again it will throw up the -30 error and then the rest of them print out fine.

I understand the -30 is a timeout error which I have upped the time out to 240 with no luck. It is not the driver as I can print out individual custom forms without a problem. It is not word as that is installed and registered correctly.

Anyone else having this kind of an issue?

Print error keeps returning

I have a user that continues to get the "Normal.dot is in use by another application" when printing. Two different times I have gone through the procedures found on this page [url]http://kb.calyxsupport.com/kb/article.php?id=586[/url]. Once I delete the template and then reopen Word, she is able to print again.

However, this fix only lasts through one or two printing sessions and then the error message returns. She contacted me again today and the error message is back and I had [i]just[/i] completed the procedures last week.

Point Freezes after Printing using PDS

I recently set my branch up on the PDS server in our corporate office. Since the change, Point freezes up after a print sequence finishes. It will print more than one document if all chosen at the same time, but freezes when the last document prints. Many times I am forced to Close Point and reopen after a long delay. As a point of reference, I do print through a Linksys Router which is wired to the network printer.

Printing BRW & CB1

It has happened by accident that the name from the CB1 file has populated on generic disclosures along with the BRW name as if they were married borrowers - but when I want to make it happen can not figure out how to do it

Printing to network printer reverts to save as PDF in custom groups.

When printing to a network printer, it will save as a PDF using the PDF995 driver instead of the print driver. This is not a constant thing. It occurs after a while of use and restarting point clears it. Any ideas?

Printing DU Findings/Credit Report generate hundreds of pages

I have a user just upgraded to Calyx 6.2. When she tries to print the DU findings or Credit report, the document actually generates hundreds of pages, each with a heading line and some text,then another page with the same. This only happens with these 2 docs. Custom forms, etc, Outlook emails, etc. print fine. Never happened before with Calyx 6.0b.

I have deleted all the contents of the \work folders, etc.Re-installed 6.2, tried toshiba and HP printers with PCL5 and PCL6 drivers- no change. this happens on all borrower and prospect files. I emailed the files to myself and everything prints out fine.

Any thoughts?

Exception error messages when emailing forms

I have a user who is not able to email forms Using WinXP and Point 6.0b. When the user choses Email - Forms he gets the prompt for chosing a password,and then he gets 2 different error messages.

One message reads "object reference not set to an instance of an object - System.nullReference Exception and references to Cbaseview.FilePrint(Cbaseview*....) and severallines of code.

The other message is "Common Language Runtime Debugger - Application has generated an exception...."

This only happens when emailing forms - he can email files fine. Does not matter if the forms are custom or standard. I tried some of the Knowledgebase tips about "whitespace" in the folder.ini by creating a brand new datafolder with 1 borrower file with nothing in it but a name and I get the same errors.

I deleted the Calyx Document converter and re-created it - no luck.

Deleted contents of the \Winpoint\work folder, deleted the \user\userprofile.ini, Reinstalled 6.0 and the .b patch and no changes.

Any ideas?

I just saw a tip about reinstalling .net via the Dotnetfx.exe which I am tyring next.

My Print Groups

Printing From Print Groups Issue

When printing from my shared Print Groups my credit score pages only prints 1 of 2, but when I pick only to print the credit score it will print both pages. I have logged into the template set and print previewed and it shows both pages but on the users computer it only shows that 1 of 2.

Any ideas?

Verifs with too much info

Is there a way to disable the printing of home phone, business phone,
cell phone, & email address that print on Verif forms?
There is no need to be disclosing this info on Verif forms
but the only way I can get rid of it is remove the info from the file,
print the forms, and then re-enter phones/email addr back in Borr Information Screen.
Has anyone found a better way to accomplish this?

Error on FHA/VA Addendum

Open a new file. Enter a sale price, loan amount, rate, and term. Check FHA. Click Print and choose the FHA/VA Addendum - Pg 1 and then choose a custom form. This will cause the FHA/VA Addendum to show "1,351" in field 12b.

The Verification of Employment screens are completed corecctly (the borrower field is checked on the borrower and the coborrower field is checked on the coborrowers) but when you print they both show the borrowers infromation in section 7. Is this a problem that anyone else is having?

Printing a Custom Form from a Custom Screen

I have 2 or 3 custom screens that we use to enter additional questions that don't appear elsewhere in Point.

I also have custom forms that merge the fields from the custom screens in additional to existing fields from the 1003 etc.

I never want to print the custom screen - I want to print the custom form that relates to the custom screen. So, if I've just entered the additional questions in the custom form "Borrower's Favorite Car" (asks, What's is the borrower's favorite car?) and I push the print button, or Ctrl+P, I would like the custom form "Borrower's Favorite Car" (Includes the answer to borrower's favorite car and other information like borrower's name, and address) to be the only form selected in the print dialogue.

This would be great. My LOs can't seem to remember to choose the custom form with the print dialogue.
