Double click to open the file, click the "Save" button twice then close the file. In other words, go to File > Open File ... and navigate to the files and double-click on it.

Another option would be to empty out the point data directory and try copying the files again. I tried to rebuild them on my new lap top which has ver. 6.0, but once I rebuilt the list...When I tried to open the files in 6.0, I get this error message box."Incorrect File Format" " Unable to read the file because it has an incorrect format or it has been corrupted. (Note: After the rebuild, the only column that is populated is the File Name colunm. all others, Borrower,Loan Status, Processor, Loan Rep are blank.) But like i said when I try to open the File Name i get that error message???Any suggestions on a fix ?
