The problem is that very frequently, but not always, after the import process is completed, the file does not show up when you perform a search for the file.

We have verified that the actual .brw files are in the \borrower folder but not visible under the search outputs. It does not matter if we search by filename, borrower, etc they do not show up. The only way we can see the files is if we do a "Rebuild list" on the data folder. After this, we have no issues with the actual files missing data.

This happens with Windows XP Professional and Windows 2000. It started when we were using version 5.1 and has stayed around through several updates.

Any thoughts? We originally thought it might be a lock problem as many of our users use shared data folders on network shares and the .idx might be locked by another user. We have discounted this as it also happens to users on their Primary Folder on the C:\ drive.

Trouble Rebuilding lost Point Files !!!

I had all my point files on my old laptop which had ver. 5.6. Is there some command line option (e.g., /xoption) that we can add to the template to prevent this error? Or do you have another suggestion for my situation?

TIA and Enjoy!

SDK

Any date range on the release?

Need beta testers?

Users want to know. :)

Acces to Point Field 701 (current monthly mortgage payment)

Okay,

We are PDS 5.4. The import works, BUT for some reason if the loan type (Purchase or Refi) is Refi, the CURRENT monthly mortgage payment will not import (ID 701). It works okay for a Purchase, just not on a Refi. :w00t:

When looking at a file marked as Refi, the Current Mortgage Payment BUTTON is greyed out (however the actual field is white). If one is typing directly in the file, you can put the dollar amount into field 701.

Any ideas?

Dividing a married Tri-Merge Report

I pulled a a couples Credit Report Together but unfortunately the husbands credit is not good. Recently we switched to PDS server and I now find that import.exe will still create files but will no longer update existing files. Any ideas what happened and how it can be fixed?

Thanks,
Mike

Importing FNMA 3.2 into Point

I am trying to import a FNMA 3.2 file into Point v. 5.4 and when I get to Point, my employment information for all borrowers other than borrower 1 is missing. I also tried exporting a FNMA 3.2 file from Point and re-importing it into Point and I get the same result. Any ideas?

Any changes to Field ID's since v5.2?

I'm doing testing for a client with an import/export utility. He is using version 5.2 and we are using field numbers from fieldID.xls to create the import/export files. My concern is that a newer version of Point may have some changes to the field ID's. Does anybody have a copy of the fieldID.xls for a more recent version that they can send me? Thanks in advance,
Alternatively if someone can confirm that there haven't been any field ID changes from version 5.2 to the most current version that would work also. Thanks in advance for any help.

Looking for Field IDs for checkbox fields

I am creating a new data export and would like to include Lien Position, property type, impounds. I know that for Loan Type (conv, FHA, VA, Other) you can use the field id TYPE and it will enter which ever box is checked on the application into your form. Is there a list of these types of field ids anywhere?

Also, can you only use the first 50 columns of a data export template to export to a mail merge in word?

Importing Point Files

I am developing an online web application that will send the data via email to a specific user that will distribute the information to one of our loan officers. We had a system outage awhile back. As part of residual damage we were left with about 10 Loans that continue to say they are ready to import. No matter how many times we import they continue to stay flagged that way. Does anyone know how to turn that flag off?

Thanks.

Importing for Good Faith Estimate

It looks like a nightmare regarding all the checkboxes.
