I have looked to see if we have input this accidentally in the electronic file but cant find that we have. We now have 2 govt loans that all docs are printing the FHA case number with the ADP code printed out twice i.e. 052-00000000 703 703

Please advise!

Has anyone created an interface from Calyx to Laser Pro?

We are going through a system conversion and we told by Laser Pro that they interfaced with Calyx. As it turns out, all they will do is import a FNMA 3.2 file! We need an interface that will allow the GFE info to flow to Laser Pro (our doc prep software). Please contact me if you have experience that could be helpful in this situation. Thanks.

FHA Purchase Down Payment not calculating

When a new file is opened I can see the 3.50% for the down payment but once a Sales price is inputted the 3.5% down payment disappears. Is anyone else having this issue?

7.4 SP5 VA FUNDING FEE ISSUE

Thought this might be a good thing for everyone to know.

The VA funding fee does not populate unless you do the following

Go to Forms

Go to Veterans Administration (VA)

Go to VA Refinance Worksheet IRRRL

Put in the loan amount on line 1

The funding fee should now populate to the Fees Worksheet and the GFE.

I called customer service and was told they have recieved several calls about this.......

Figures don't refresh/update when swapping between loan scenarios

With the most recent update you brought back the swapping of up to six scenarios. However, when I swap between scenarios the math does not refresh or update to reflect the accurate numbers of the current scenario.

The only way to have correct math is to manually delete each closing cost on the fee worksheet and re-enter the amount. Then the bottom line cash from borrower updates correctly.

I love the ability to swap scenarios but the math needs to carry over correctly. Can you please look into this?

I learned my lesson back in November by installing the service pack right away. Won't ever do that again:D Is it safe to run sp5? What are some of the issues with it if any?

Point Central 7.4 import from DO/DU

Every time I import a loan back from DU and it's not a purchase it adds a 0 in the sales price filed and wipes out my loan amount. Addtionally, when the credit report imports all the accounts reported with zero balances show up and I have to delete them again so my applilcation is not an extra 2 - 3 pages of zero balance accounts.

Anybody else have this issue?

Anyone having issues where point isnt saving a file? We were first having issues of data lost after printing. We would make a change and then print the change, then after printing the change would be gone. Now we are having issues even after we click save, and come back to the file, the save information is gone.

Any one else having the same issues with 7.4 SP3

Point and PointCentral Update

We just updated to PointCentral 7.3 and updated clients to 7.4 in the process. End users are being prompted with a dialog box everytime they access a file to save their changes, even if they haven't made any. Is this something new or is this some kind of setting that has been enabled? It seems they never received this prompt before when no changes were made. Anyone else experience this? Any way to avoid it?

MAKING A CSV FILE OF CONTACTS

I have just set up a new website with Alamode & they have a special format to be able to upload my contacts from point into new wesbite. The contact list needs to be in CSV form with lists with headers. Anybody on here familiar with alamode & how to do this with my poiunt contacts. Thanks

I am having continual errors with the new version. 2 in particular - failed to create empty docket & -encountered improper argument. I have tried calling Calyx several times & have been on hold for hours, anybody know why the waits are so long?

Prospect Date

In 7.3 the "Opened Date" In Track Status moved "Prospect Date" but still auto-populated the date the file was originally created in Point by a Loan Consultant.

We installed 7.4 over the weekend, and a Loan Consultant just realized it is not auto-populating the date....We pull Pre-Qual Reports based on the data in this field and LOVE that we did not have to rely on someone to input it.

We adjusted our reports after 7.3 in November and had to pull 2 sets of reports one looking at "Prospect Date" and another looking at "Application Date" for files that were opened in 7.2

Is this a 7.4 update done on purpose, or an oversight??

Just trying to figure out how we can Re-adjust how we do business again :hehe:

Checklist Date Calculations

Prior versions would calculate the due dates on the checklist. Version 7.4 seems to calculate the fist few due dates in my check list which is cofigured to use the Application Date plus a number of days or the Estimated Close Date minus a number of days to calculate Due Dates. Hopefully, this will be corrected so all the due dates will show up.

Just got new computer and installed 7.3 via my calyx. However, during setup of everything, I'm trying to figure a way to export my custom forms from an older version of point on a different computer to a place where I can import these onto the new machine. I can't determine if custom forms can be exported from templates. Please advise.

Just upgraded to 7.3. I was wondering if anyone would care to share any changes in regard to defaults that they had setup in 7.2.

For some reason the mortgage tax is not calculating and my owners title insurance table is no where to be found. I'm sure it is something on my end of things but just wanted to check with users to see if anyone is experiencing these minor issues.

DTI Calculation

I've noticed that the DTI calculations don't update when I change interest rate, taxes, hoi, etc. unless i first make the desired changes then i delete the rate, delete the term and due entries and fill them again. WTF???

7.3 Update hosted by Focus IT

Does anyone else have Calyx hosted by Focus IT? We have had the server updated to 7.3 but our computers are still 7.2. I read on the Calyx website that there may be problems with this, but our officer at the bank says it is OK. Does anyone else experience this and are there any issues with it? We are new to the Calyx software and this is the first update that we are experiencing.

file just disappeared

File was saved in Prospect. Went to print fees worksheet, got a very fast error msg (too quick to read or screen print). POINT shut down. reopened POINT and file has completely disappeared. Checked all datafolders. It is just gone. What happened, and how can I get it back?

Unrecoverable Error message

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what was your resolution?

System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. followed by a long string of "at runtime, Int32bForce,Object,BaseView and handler" messages.

The processor was just trying to move from page 1 to page 3 of the 1003, and had been in the file for less than 5 minutes.

7.3 Field Number Changes

ALERT!!! Form 882 (MLDS) Major Problem

Apparently Calyx doesn't feel the need to send a mass email to all of us regarding this major problem with the MLDS form (882), I thought I would post this in the hopes that no one else will waste as much of their day as I have trying to figure this problem out.

The Compensation From Rebate field now makes completing the 2010 GFE a breeze. However, the credit for the rebate does not carry over to the Form 882 (MLDS) and the borrower's cash to close is increased by an amount equal to the rebate.

I spent a few hours trying a number of work arounds (entering the credit manually) and can't get the 882 to calculate correctly no matter what I do. I finally broke down and called tech support and wasted 45 minutes (acutally 43 minutes 13 seconds) on hold only to be told that they are aware of the problem and are working on it. There is no timeframe for a correction, and for now we are to continue to manually complete the Form 882.

When I asked why they didn't send out a mass email to all of us, they said (again) that they are working on the problem.

This would have been good information to have before I wasted half my day. Thanks guys. :ermm:

Include Compensation from Rebate

I want to select the "Include Compensation from Rebate" box in my closing cost template. The box is gray (unable to select). Does anyone know how to seclect this box in the closing cost scenario template so my lenders do not have to remember to select it? It is available to select when entering a loan but I'm trying to make it default. I've emailed Calyx with no response and I gave up on waiting on the phone. Thanks

7.3 Issues

Has anyone being having the same issues that I have with 7.3? And if so, have you found a solution.

1. When trying to print written list of service providers without fee, it still prints the fees.

2. In the initial arm disclosure statement, some fields are not lining up and some fields are not adding up correctly.

3. When coping an old borrower file back to prospect, MI is added in, even when MI was not in the intial file.

4. Purchase loans- the subject property changes sometime randomly back to present address.

New 7.0 Crashing

We are on 7.0 and using PDS. We never had this issue before. We have upgraded all PCs to 2 gigs of RAM and they are still Crashing. Is anyone else having this issue?

Error when conducting an Advanced Search "Encountered an Improper Argument"

We are using Point Central and Point 7.2 with SP2. When using the Advanced Search feature, if we have the PDS folders highlighted and include our local Primary Data Folder, we receive the "Encountered an Improper Argument" message. It is incredibly annoying especially to our loan officers in the field. This is the workaround that we have been using to avoid the error. Any plans to do an update that removes the error?

MLDS882 no instructions in HELP menu for new form

I downloaded the new Point update today. I must use the MLDS882. I cannot figure out how to:

1. Polpulate all of the costs in III. It is not pulling all of them from the Initial worksheet

2. DOes the Payoff amount go in III C5 ? is so its not pulling either

3. It is not pulling the payoff in to I so my cash to or from borrower is inaccurate

The form in the HELP menu is the old form and I cannot locate any instructions

HELP ME PLEASE. I have been waiting for this form since December and I cant believe there was not instruction or mention in "See whats new in Point 7.2"
