It explains the steps to import conventional Cardex into PDS.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please clarify what you mean by "Access database directly?"&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;  Did you use access to open it?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The Cardex has to be exported using the "File &amp;gt; Export to Calyx PDS" in the Cardex Database utility for import to PDS. Please see section &lt;STRONG&gt;4. When a Point client is connected to PDS, the search setting for Cardex Default Search is set to off. I have created a Cardex in PDS Administrator.  I have imported from the xml to the new PDS Cardex.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Point 5.3 is not seeing the PDS 5.3 Cardex data.
