The first two lines of my .fnm file is

"EH 20080612123456789
TH T100099-002123456789
TPI 1.0001 N
0001 3.20 W
00ANN
01A011 20000000 6.000 360 360
02A221, Baker Street londonalbeya 12345 5 Owner is father of applicant 12
"

I have opened it in notepad. i see one 0 like character after EH line, and after printing the envelop header control number it prints nothing in .err file.

This is what generated after scanning in utscanner, i.e the .err file

first it shows an alert "cannot read segment definations config file for file type 11, file version" and then produces this .err file. I even compare the two .fnm files(one generated by me and other got from efanniemae). I saw a newline character (like 0, i dont know what it is) in my file, whereas no this type of character in actual one.

Hi,

in our site we provide 1003 loan application and writing in a .fnm file the data entered in a loan application. After downloading the .fnm file we are checking the file by importing it into utscan provided by efanniemae. But it shows error that "error reading header". When opening the file in notepad it shows a 0 like character in place of newline character, where it should not be there in actual .fnm files. After getting the first newline character after the EH line the scanner can not read the file.

Please help me to overcome this problem. Thanks to all.
