When my users try to run reports they get the following error:
PointReport.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Service
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled
Process id=0x1954 (6484), Thread id=0x1da8 (7592)
Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

I have my Winpoint.ini file configured like this in their home directory:
Application=H:\WINPOINT
Templates=C:\PNTTEMPL
User=H:\WINPOINT\user
work=H:\winpoint\work

If I change the Applicatoin line like this: Application=C:\WINPOINT the report will work just fine. This isn't a workable solution for me however because when my users pull credit they use different information (stored in the H:\WINPOINT\EMDBInterface folder).

When I try to open the file C:\WINPOINT\PointReport.exe it will open. But when I try to open it from my home directory H:\WINPOINT\PointReport.exe I get the same error as above.

It looks like the PointReport.exe will not run from any other location than its default folder. Anyone have any ideas?

CCS Reports

Is there a way to pull a report on all our CCS files? I go back into the point file because naturally I think that I haven't saved and exited properly. when i go back into the point file the data is how i changed it.

Any ideas?

Merging Liabilities with 2 Seperate Reports?

I'm trying to process a loan in a very interesting way...

I have 2 borrowers, Jack and Kim, both married. I need to run their credit reports seperately, although I can't use Multi-Individual files in Calyx. So, I figured to use the "Bor/Co-Bor" option and place Kim's information seperately to get the seperate report without overwriting Jack's info.

However, I need a way to be able to merge all their information to process the loan as if they were originally a Joint report. (Basically, have all of Kim's information populate onto the same liability page as Jack's.)

Is there any way to go about doing this or would another method be more reasonable?

I'm using Calyx Point 5.3 and my credit provider is CBC Innovis.

Median Credit Score

Is it possible for a Report to show Only the Median Credit Score for the Buyer and CO Buyer so that we only have 2 fields vs 6 on our report?

Automated Reports

I am looking for a way to automate running reports in Point, I saw a post from 2005 where it looked pretty complicated, but I am curious if anything has changed? I have a set of reports that I run daily and export to excel, but if there is a way to simply have them run automatically this would be fantastic.

Disabling Ordering Credit Reports Unless Credit Card is Checked

Is this possible? I want to have it set up so the Loan Officers are responseable for their own payment (they operate seperately from the company, however, they are still under the name of the company). Is there a way to change the option in Calyx (see screenshot) so that way it will not let the LO order a credit report without having the "Pay By Credit Card" checked?

Currently, the setup is that all of their logins are associated and billed to the company directly.

Report fields with multiple dates

I am trying to create a report with multiple fields; Closed; Denied and Cancelled all from a specific date or date range (example- Greater than or equal to 3/16/07). I am using the Condition Builder to specify the dates and all the dates are the same for each field. When I generate the report, all fields are blank.
I can run each report (closed; denied; cancelled) separately and they run fine. It's like a loop has somehow been created with the dates.

This is probably a really brainless question and I am sure that there is a very easy fix, but I cannot find it and it is driving me crazy.

Any help would be appreciated.

Point 5.3 Not Completing Order Request

As of today, any credit reports I try to order in Calyx Point 5.3 do not completely process. On the "Credit Report Retrieval" part where the progress bar shows, it continues to go until it's just about done... maybe about 90-95% complete, and then it just stops. I've left it set for awhile as I went off to do other things, come back, and it didn't move at all.

I contacted CBC Innovis (my provider), and they have specific settings for Calyx Point to operate effectively. They too said they've been getting many calls about people unable to order through Calyx all of a sudden.

I have checked things like my virus scanner and firewall, both of which I disabled for the time being. I verified my network connections and my login info as I logged into and ordered a test file through CBC Innovis' website.

Any ideas?

Reports - Exclude Null Records & Set Column Conditions

1) I'm generating a custom report in the current version. I would like to make it part of the report conditions that it excludes records containing null values for a specified (key) field.
2) I also want to have have information for certain columns pulled from more than one field. For example: consider a listing of Borrower Names. I'd like to have Co Borrower names within the file populate a separate record in the same column, so a complete list of names including Borrower and CoBorrower can be accessed. What I am currently doing is using two reports which gather the separate information, exporting both, editing out CoBorrower nulls manually, and then manually combining the two exported files.
If you have any ideas, I'd appreciate it. I use the Multi- reports when the borrowers are not married or related, but rather, just co-signing on a loan. Recently, though, whenever I input the information in Calyx Point 4.2 or 5.3, even if I select "unmarried" on the Credit Request screen, I get a Joint report back.
At first I thought it was the vendor doing this to my reports, but when I run the exact same report through any of their software, I am able to get a Multi- report back no problem, plus, I used to be able to do this on an older version of Calyx Point.

I assume that it was due to all the updates that were made for Point recently, but is there any way to go about getting a Multi- report in Calyx?
