| | Hello, I have a LO who can print docs, save docs as PDF, but can not email. She gets to the part where she puts in the pass, does that, and then says Ok. After this nothing happens. With other LO's GroupWise will open and then open a new mail message, or if already open it will just open a new email message. We have Calyx Point 5.4 installed and we use GroupWise 7.0. The user is able to click on links on the web that opens a new email message. And is able to do the same thing from our online origination system (OpenClose). We have tried to reinstall the Calyx Document Converter via the .exe in the Winpoint folder but this has not helped. Any ideas please?

| | Conference call was a bust. Issue is still undresolved. Its very weird any other program will launch GroupWise and attach whatever is being sent. But for some reason Point will not. Like I said earlier she is able to print and or save from Point. I'm thinking it has to be a .dll file or something that helps Point communicate with/opem GW. Thanks
Thank you,

| | After doing more research my guess is this is a MAPI issue. I've called Calyx Support two different times and have got the run around of sorts. The first time I called I was told it was a GroupWise issue and that Calyx performs better with Outlook. Well, it just might - but our bank uses GroupWise so we can't change that. They suggested I re install GW - which I did and it did not fix anything - of course not! She was able to populate attachments in other programs just fine, indicating the issue is with Calyx Point. The second time I called I got a gentlemen who put me on hold, came back and said he passed it along to a tier 2 analyst, that was this AM at 8 - still no call back. My fear is that no one will really look into this and I will be told to re install Calyx Point which means our LO will need to send her laptop from Buffalo NY to Lancaster PA for our Hardware team to reinstall. Resullting in our LO missing out on a few days of work time. There has to be a better way. Any suggestions on where to go for support on this, or am I stuck with the infamous re install?

| | Called Calyx support yesterday - told level 1 anaylst that I have an open issue and that it is with a level 2. He told me he would check on the progress. He came back on about 5 min later and told me its with a level 2, but that hes currently working another issue. I didn't know there was a waiting list. He said the level 2 would call me when there is an update. Still no call back, no ticket reference number, whats going on with support? I've uninstalled/reinstalled the doc convereter Re installed printer drivers Make sure that the program was selected as the default mail program Checked the mail profiles Looked at the .ocx and .dll files Stoped startup programs Looked for pop up blockers, secuirty settings, anti virus, etc Looked for un authorized bank programs ... to no avail.

| Have you tried this:
1) Close all running programs.
2) Click Start > Run.
3) Type regsvr32 -u msmapi32.ocx. Click OK, then OK again on the unregister succeeded message.
4) Go back to Start > Run, and type regsvr32 msmapi32.ocx. Click OK, then OK again on the register succeeded message.
