A friend of mine in the mortgage biz asked me to look into this. I'm wondering if there is any possibility of building a plug in for point. Is there a 3rd party dev kit out there for Point? I had heard about 1.5 years ago that one was coming...

We have an SDK in the alpha stage but I wouldn't call that a plug-in for Point, what kind of functionality is your friend trying to provide for Point?  One of the existing interfaces may be more appropriate then the SDK.
