We have our company logo on some of our custom forms. Just installed 5.4. The forms save to PDF correctly when it's the only one I do, but when I print a large group of forms, the logo skews diagonally. Any ideas on how to fix the problem? It worked fine even in large groups in 5.3a if that means anything.

Thanks,

Sorry to revive this old posting but I saw it had no responses.

There appear to be some "issues" with PDF printing in the 5.4 version. If you're saving to PDF through Point, you might try printing to a PDF converter (Adobe Acrobat, PDF Factory, etc.) The problem with this is that it keeps asking you where you want to save each individual document and you can't answer fast enough to keep the process going.

Converting to PDF in any system has pitfalls when it comes to speed. I have had to break up my print groups into smaller units. Another thing you can do is combine related custom docs into one Word file. This actually works well if you have groups set up. Problem is, if there is a particular form you don't want, you have to do a print preview and delete that page.

I have taken a combination approach. I break up large custom groups into smaller groups, and do an extra print batch or two. I have also combined multiple custom forms into one form where feasible. This reduces the cracks in my keyboard and monitor as well as lowering my blood pressure a point or two.

I recently had the same problem in 6.0b. I changed my logo from a gif file with a transparent background to just a normal jpeg file. This has resolved the problem.
