Has someone published just the application (Point) in a Citrix environment by running the app on the ts server and saving all of the user specific settings ie DU LP etc. in the user specific winpoint folder.  All of these posts look like the winpoint dir is getting copied to each users tsprofile and then running the app off of that users desktop with the shortcut pointing to each individual users winpoint.exe in the profile, is that correct?

Is there a way to just publish the app and have individual logins and pw for the venders be saved?

I am running Point v5.4a through Citrix PS4 without copying winpoint folders . Everything works fine.  I am doing published app via web interface and PNAgent.

I map the users drive in AD for terminal server users to U: and define user=U:\WINPOINT and temporary=U:\WINPOINT\work. You can make these whatever you want, but I suggest keeping them separate folders.

U: is mapped to a network share.

At peak loads, I was averaging 30-40 users in Citrix on Point across multiple servers, usually at least 4-5 on the same server at once.

The temporary= is the key to success.  Prior to this, I had a lot of file locking issues and problems with people using other peoples embedded credit info.

I have found no viable reason to copy the entire \winpoint folder and redirect application= in the INI.  For every server, it's still the default install patch of application=C:\WINPOINT

Has anyone yet created a post "setting up Point within Citrix"????? I'm having a real hard time getting this all to work.
I got a good understanding of Point, but Citrix not so much. I have some outside techs that work with Citrix PS helping out, but they're not having much luck either.

Basically, we want to have folders setup for each Loan Officer, and want them and only them to be able to access their folder. I think these will be permissions setup within Point, not windows, correct?? I'm having a hard time understanding how to create the folders for the LOs and what needs to be within them. Stated above was to create a mapped drive, i.e. U: to "work", and then another temporary folder?? HUH??

I have so many questions and don't really know where to start. If someone could give me a basic starting point, it would be very helpful.
