I am trying to make a custom form using a table, but every time I try to print it, I get this error message: "Word found locked fields during the update. Word cannot update locked fields".  I have tried doing what the word help file told me to do to unlock the field (ctrl+shift+f11) both on every cell individually and by selecting the entire table and clicking it but I stil get the same message.

The wird part is that if I go to print preview (from the point print diaglogue box) and preview it, I can see the merged data, and print it from word.

PLEASE HELP!

Mike

which version of word are you using?  Also if you don't mind can you post the custom form to the message board? or at least one with your table?
