Does anyone know of a way to add two fields? I want to be able to add up line 801 and 802 on the GFE, then display them on a Custom form...

Thanks in advance.

{={if {mergefield pnt_1023}=”” “0.00” “{mergefield pnt_1023}”}±{if {mergefield pnt_1024}=”” “0.00” “{mergefield ont_1024”}

This is a very basic one that will add 2 fields even if one has a 0 amt.

this is a simple solution, I am sure that others will tell you that VBA is the way to go, but this works just fine for your simple calculation.

John,

I have tried every possible way of doing this and the custom form does not add them together but prints the formula on the page.  I am sure I am doing something wrong but I cannot figure it out.  Do you have any idea what I am doing wrong.

these are done as if statements in word. you cant just type the {, you need to do an if then and add the field IDs
