1) Stop PDS FileSync

2) Change the following parameter in the PDS SQL database:

Table Parameter
vcDomainvcNamevcValue
FileSyncCardexImportPathD:\Point Data Server\filesync\CardexImport\

3) Start PDS FileSync

I changed the path, and added the xml file into that folder.  But shows nothing to import.  The path is correct.  Any ideas?

What error are you getting?  Is it:

"Source file D:\Point Data Server\filesync\CardexImport\PointCardex.xml not found.  The system is not able to import cardex records since the source file does not exist"?

1) Did you stop and start the PDS FileSync Windows Service?

2) Do you have a file named "PointCardex.xml" in "D:\Point Data Server\filesync\CardexImport"? (which you got from Point)

1)

No error.  I get.

The system will import cardex records from the file D:\Point Data Server\filesync\CardexImport\PointCardex.xml.

There are no PDS Cardex Databases defined.

2)  Yes I did.

3) Yes, the file is in there.

Do I need to possibly look at the file permissions?

Sorry in order to import records form your point cardex you first need to define a cardex in pds, Click the cardex databases menu item followed by the add cardex database. Once you have defined a cardex database you can import into it. http://pdskb.calyxsoftware.com/article.aspx?id=10845

Created the cardex, but still get the following on the screen

Source file D:\Point Data Server\filesync\CardexImport\PointCardex.xml not found. The system is not able to import cardex records since the source file does not exist.

Is there another spot I need to change in SQL?

THanks,
