I have a LO that was connecting to the PDS 5.3 fine yesterday. He installed the 5.3a patch and now is NOT able to connect any longer. His error is vague. He simply gets the "Unable to connect to the Point Data Server ...the underlying connection was closed".

He IS able to open a browser and connect fine to the https url.

What in the patch could cause this? We have checked his PDS settings in the Point Administrator window.

Have you tried to re-install 5.3 w/o 5.3a to see if it works fine?
