| | I am trying to adjust the user permissions for a particular Point data folder on our server, but when I select the "Properties" button it triggers an error message that "The data folder is owned by someone else, or it cannot be reached at this time." I do not think that "...it cannot be reached..." as I can access a different folder on the same network drive. I can also access the folder in question in Windows Explorer. I do not know what determines "ownership" of the folder, but is there any way to tell who the "owner" is? I am the admin for our system, and I need to be able to change user permissions on folders. Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks for your help!

| | I don't think there is a way to know who "owns" the folder. It just means that you have used the wrong password. There is a very simple way to reset the password on a datafolder, but I don't think Calyx wants this information posted in their forums. Think "copy, paste" |
